This is a quiet, clean and inexpensive hotel a short walk from the bus station and on one of Phuket town's better known streets making it easy to find for taxi drivers from the airport (although if it is before about 2230 people on a budget can catch the very inexpensive airport bus to the bus station).
My tiled floor room was big, very clean and had a comfy bed. The spacious bathroom had hot water shower.
The lady and her daughter running the place are friendly, efficient and have good English. They shuttled me and other guests to the pier for .
For baht ($us1) a basic breakfast of toast and jam, fuit and coffee/tea was available.
Turning left out of D's leads to 2 local inexpensive retaurants within 100m.
Turn left at the first intersection (200m) for more restaurants and a spot with live music at night.
Then turn right after 200m at the roundabout and you are in the street which has the local fresh food market (150m) which opens around 0400, the starting point for the buses to the beaches (also 150m) and a 24h 711 store (200m).
