We arrived after check in time and there was no sign of any staff. We waited around 10 mins and finally a door behind the desk opened. The staff member had clearly just woke up! The room stunk and there was dust everywhere. The fridge in the room was switched off and hadn't been cleaned for ages. Only things clean were sheets and the bathroom. The hostel is quite far from anything so you need to rent a motorbike. The closest beach is about 10-15 walk along a road with no pavement, although it is probably the nicest beach on koh samui (choeng mon). Whenever we went back to the hostel it was rare that we saw any staff, which was a shame because she seemed friendly enough, just lazy! We got a lift off her from the hostel to bang rak harbour which is cheaper than other transport on koh samui.
