Disappointing - don't understand why this place gets high ratings!
Admittedly it was peak season, and the price shot up by almost double, but this resort really was not at all value for money. Key issues:
1. Facilities - besides swimming pool, this place has nothing.
2. Breakfast - u'd think that being vegetarian, they'd offer a wide selection of vegetarian dishes, but no, there was a choice of 3-4 small dishes, and another small selection of fruit. They seemed to try and compensate by offering lots of bread. They offered fruit/veggie juices in fancy bottles which made them look home-made, but the contents tasted like they were from a can. Certainly not fresh.
3. Room - not bad, but utilities didn't work well - aircon took some time to come on, shower was either hot or cold, skipping warm.
4. Concept - i may be mistaken, but a 'vegetarian hotel resort' indicates to me a kind of health paradise, in practice, all this means is they don't serve meat and no alcohol. If you take something out, fine, but what are you going to replace it with?
