Absolutely Amazing!!

we stayed at ammatura pura pool villa for 4 nights in early may, and everything from the private pick-up at the airport (especially since my girlfriend and i flew in at different times) to the room, the staff, the breakfast and everything in-between were fantastic! we had a "beachside pool villa" (althought not quite "beachside", was only a few steps) and the room was superb! the interior was amazing, absolutely huge room! it feels as though you are in an apartment, not a "room". the bed was amazing, the gigantic jacuzzi tub was stunning, the dual sinks were a nice touch, the breakfast nook where they serve you breakfast in the room each morning was great, and the outdoor area.....well, beyond words! sure the resort is directly on a beautiful expanse of beach, but if you choose to go for the beachside villas, it won't matter. we never once went down to the beach other than to have a poke around and walk towards lamai for dinner. the pool was absolutely gorgeous! and not your typical "plunge pool". it was massive! perfect area to relax and cool off in! nice sitting area with a spot for drinks, the infinity pool was our favorite spot! nestled in next to our private, covered lounge area with two sun loungers and bench. the attention to detail both inside our room and out was absolutely spectacular! this resort in brand-new, there is a bit of construction going on near the soon-to-be reception area, but does not impact where the villas are situated. staff were friendly, helpful and receptive to any/all of our requests, and went the extra little bit to see that our stay was perfect! will definitely be back and will be recommending to everyone we can! if you want a relaxing, beautiful, comfortable, and truly amazing stay on samui, this is it!!
