best service ever!
From the moment I arrived at the Bonny Hotel I was greeted with a big smile and by name! Where else in the world does that happen, and even more so at such a low price hotel. Nong has been amazing with all enquiries and help with booking ferries and trains and with all sort of information about the island, seriously some of the greatest customer service I have ever seen, I can not rate it highly enough!
The rooms themselves are spacious, with great air con, a little balcony that is great for relaxing on drinking a cold beer while watching the locals a few properties over work on building a new resort. (feel kinda mean watching them work while Im on travels and holidays!) You can barely hear the construction when you have your sliding door closed to the balcony as well. Wifi in rooms works perfectly. And the beds are very very comfortable!
The location is right in the middle of the main bar/market district of Lamai, seriously a couple minute walk to the beach, just cut thru another resorts property. There is 7/11, McDonalds, Bars and amazing thai food all within a minute or two walk. and there is a little side street market as well! What else can one really ask for?
So I would definitely stay here again, and I would highly recommend it to everyone!
