Boutique hotel with impeccable service
This is a tastefully decorated hotel in the heart of old Phuket Town. Our room was on the ground floor right in front of the garden, so we had no issues with noise from the busy road outside. In fact, because the door to our room opens right into the garden, it almost felt like we were entering some quaint country house when we first walked into our room.
Service was impeccable. The staff was very friendly and courteous, they never failed to greet us every time we left and returned to our room, making us feel like VIPs. They also gave very good recommendations on where to dine (typically mid-range places with amazing Thai food patronised by the Thais themselves). Even though we did not book any tours with them, the front desk staff helped phone our pick up drivers when they were late to ensure that they would arrive ultimately. (Conversely, the transport we booked with the hotel was never late. In fact, they were usually 10 mins early.)
We were also presently surprised to find turn down snacks and fresh towels folded creatively into the shape of elephants, with leaves (presumably plucked from the garden outside) as their eyes. I almost did not bear to unfold it.
In summary, service in this hotel is warm, homely and shows great attention to details.
