Common areas not well maintained
The photos are misleading. The hotel is not as new as the photos portray - and it shows.
Floors are tiled. You can hear everything that goes on in the hallway, and every time a door closes or opens, or when noisy people decide to shout in the hallway - which happened to me every night from numerous different people staying on the same floor. My sleep was disrupted.
The rooms had a musky odour. Similar scent you can get from certain wood being damp. I had to leave the balcony door open for a bit and have the air-conditioning on at full blast to get rid of some of the smell.
Breakfast was good. selection changes daily, and the staff were great at the restaurant.
Lobby area and the reception desk service were bad. The moment the sliding doors openend, the lobby lost all the air conditioning "cooling". The receptionists were almost non existend except for check in and check out times, so I had to seek assistance from the security guard on two occasions, and he spoke very little English.
