Beautiful little inn near Palace, River

Pros: New small inn, only 7 rooms. Beautiful restoration of a historic Thai house. Rooms nicely decorated with antiques, comfy beds. Nice bathrooms with good fixtures and toiletries. Pretty enclosed garden for full breakfast. All rooms are non-smoking.

Cons: New property, still working out some kinks with systems. Electrical problems forced them to cancel our first night's reservation, and a toiled backup resulted in a call to the plumber. Staff, while earnest, is inexperienced. We asked about laundry and they had no idea where to refer us. Finally the hotel owner walked us to a "laundromat" in the neighborhood, which was 2 pay washers outside in an alley. A hotel of this caliber should have better systems in place.

Suggestions: Establish a relationship with a nearby laundry/dry cleaner to offer services to guests, or at the very least, be able to recommend where to go. Offer more choices for breakfast, or vary choices by day.

Great location and lovely hostess
very good location, across the road from khaosan, but lovely and quiet! breakfast in the garden was great, and we were only fifteen minute walk from the Grand Palace. overall excellent stay!
