Good facilities but captive location

We booked a 2 bedroom suite as there were four of us. The first suite allocated had a noise problem with the air-conditioners which also happened to spew hot air. They then upon our complaint, gave us another suite, which was fine until the 2nd last day of our stay when same said problem occurred. Also, there are no food options located outside the hotel that are within walking distance, so we had to cab it into town. It's pricey with the hotel transportation but cheaper with a local cab. Other than that, the famous Thai hospitality was in evidence and the facilities including the beach were wonderful.

Good mind service for staff
