Location - Not fantastic, it is quite a walk from Chaweng beach although it appeaars to look quite near on the map. No doubt the hotel is cheaper than most beach-front hotels, the taxi ride to bring you back to the hotel is expensive - so it will all end up the same anyway.
Service - I booked my hotel through Agoda and the frontdesk lady's service was horrendous. I showed her my booking confirmation and she said she couldn't find it in her system. I had to literally beg her to call Agoda before we do not have a local line and she was reluctant. She asked me to call Agoda myself. I asked her for Wifi access so that I could write to Agoda and then she told me the Wifi is down. We had to plead her to let us just check in and then I'll find my ways to contact Agoda when I get free Wifi out in the restaurants near Chaweng beach. When Agoda contacted her and resend the booking confirmation, she did not even bother to let me know. I had to check my email and wait for Agoda's reply to know that the matter was resolved.
