We did not know what to expect when we arrived late at night. Everything so dark. The hostess was very friendly. She asked if we had dinner en we didn't. All she could offer us was fried rice, Later her husband drove us to the only real restaurant in town. Execellent tasty food. Later the owner drove us back one at a time on his motorbike. We were the only guests the first night. but later some English speaking Thai came and shared snacks and even a hot breakfast with us they had brought from Bangkok. Toast and coffee is usually being served. Although it was very peaceful, we found it a bit too far from the action and spent the third night in Prachuap.
