I have been 8th times on PhiPhi island since 1992. Last time in 2011. I loved this place. But -i think- PhiPhi is died by the partying tourist and careless natives. Its too loud (you need earplugs in nighttimes). Too dirty. Full of garbage. Can you imagine we couldnt swim in the see, because it was incredible dirty... The snow white sand disapeared and now yellow, somewhere grey and brown.....the mankind is idiot how kill the nature. Do not travel to in PhiPhi if you have been before there, but if you have not , then you can check it before you couldt do it. Loh Dalum bay is the dirtiest side of the island. You need to escape to longbeach, runtee beach or the farest corner of the island. There you can find clear water, yet.
Anyway Phi Phi View Point Resort is very good place to stay and they have a swimming pool with beautiful view. The bungalows also have a stuning view. The staff is excelent, kind, helpful.
