The Staff and Service Cannot Be Beat!

At Code, the staff are amazing - this extends from Max, the manager, to their restaurant staff, spa staff, and facilities staff. The rooms are a beautiful crisp white (great lighting), and well-appointed in terms of bed linen choice and room accessories, including a kitchenette with pots, pans, and plates/flatwares if you choose to cook. The sunbed on the terrace gives you a place to take in even more of the amazing view. When we had an issue with our A/C unit leaking, our room was fixed immediately! The hotel even gives you a pre-loaded cell phone on which to call their staff, making it easy to contact them both on-property and off.
The pool is so amazing, and the view from the edge of the infinity pool, over the trees on the hill, and into the ocean is unparalleled.
The location is a bit off the main road (definitely use Google Maps!), but they have some signage to help you make the correct turn. Some of these roads did get a bit flooded in the rainy season; just go slow if you have a rental car. The hill up to the parking area is a bit steep, but it didn't cause any problems for us. Code has a hotel shuttle as well as rental motorbikes, should you not have a rental car from the airport.
The hotel is located a bit away from the Samui airport (~35 minute drive with traffic) and the more touristy areas, which we were completely fine with! There are some tasty beach-front restaurants at the bottom of the hill that the hotel sits on, and a 7/11 close by for any immediate needs.
Cinnamon, the hotel's spa, is awesome - I fell asleep both times while getting the foot reflexology treatment! I received one of the best pedicures I have ever paid for at this spa. Shout out to Noom in the spa!
Code's staff is it's biggest selling point, in my opinion. Mint and Pop took superb care of us both while dining in the hotel restaurant and at the hotel's events for guests. Randel even challenged us to some games of pool when it was raining too hard for us to leave the hotel!
