Lovely property, nice views, friendly staff
Our objective was to relax and get away from the action - was a good choice for this, up the hill in the north of the island.
The staff were friendly, checked us in and gave us a mobile phone to use throughout our stay. The rooms are very nice - very white and clean, with a super-comfy leather sofa and kitchenette. Ours was right by the pool, which was nice, but I'm glad we were at the far end, as people can easily see in the rooms as they walk past. The infinity pool area is beautiful, with a view across the water and islands.
Ate at the restaurant a couple of times, the food was pretty good - the Thai was just ok, but would recommend the chicken burger - YUM! Breakfast is good, quite comprehensive. Food/drink prices are reasonable, worth noting that the mini bar in the room is about half the price for drinks, so recommend grabbing them from your room when by the pool.
A 15 min walk down the hill you'll find a bunch of restaurants. We went down and ended up in Celli's pizza (it was closest when we got caught in the rain!) and it was great. The hotel provides a shuttle on the hour to take guests up and down.
We had a fantastic, and reasonably priced, massage at the spa, it's a great way to get Ito the holiday vibe.
Overall a great stay.
