Comfortable with gorgeous view of ocean on a hill

Absolutely breathtaking view. Manager Gary was really nice to get us a change of room to those with direct access to the infinity pool. Just right at our door step is the pool. It was the low season so hotel was not fully occupied.
We got a ride down to convenience store at the bottom of the hill. Note that Code is on top of a steep hill and you can request a pick up from the bottom of the hill or the main road. I will not recommend anyone to walk back to the hotel from the foot of the hill or main road. There are many dogs along the way and some are really aggressive and territorial. We encountered some which tailed us and it was not a great experience. Hotel staff should alert guests on this as some guests might choose to walk back to the hotel.
Code provides guests with a mobile phone which has quick access to their front desk. One other plus is their basketball hoop near the reception - it is refreshing and homely touch.
On our 2nd last day with Code, the water from the shower and sink was murky brown. The whole of Mae Nam was affected due to restructuring/reconstruction of some pipes/drainage. We were ensured that water will get back at a certain time. Special mention to their operations head, Joe. However as we felt uncomfortable, and as per our suggestion, Joe moved us to their sister resort, Lanna Suites (at Bo Phut) where we came from initially. We did not have to top up any amount even though it was more expensive than the rooms in Code Hotel.
Dinner at the restaurant had the same menu as their sister resort when we were there in June, not sure of any changes now. Food at code was much better than their sister resort, Lanna Suites. For spa, you might have to book way in advance as the few days i was there, it was kind of fully booked and i couldn't find any suitable times.
Overall this is a really great hotel, although quite secluded, there's a kitchenette available for no hassle small cooking. Catching the sunset at the infinity pool is amazing.
