Clean villa suites and superb staffs
It was my first time in Krabi, Thailand, and I was pretty much new to solo traveling. I looked at several hotels on Agoda and finally settled on Leelawadee Garden Resort. Normally I'd go with the place that had the most reviews and Leelawadee was not one of them cause this place just opened up and had 6 reviews. I couldn't be more happier with my choice. I was greeted by Caroline and Paul, two of the nicest people you can meet, and showed me to my villa suite. I asked several questions about Krabi and what are the things that I can do for fun. The recommended several tours and several adventurous activities that I can do on my own, rather than paying the pricey tour booking companies which really you don't have much freedom from in terms of time. They were both very helpful in directing me the way to all the well known places, and when I did decide to take the tours, Caroline was more than welcome to book them for me at no additional commission fee other hotels may charge, so that was a major plus. I tried all their recommendations and I was very pleased with all of them, so kudos to Leelawadee Garden Resort and their great staffs. The only knock on the place that one might say about the place is how far it is from town or the night life of Ao Nang, which to me was not a problem because it was just about a 10 to 15 min motor bike ride. Caroline booked me a motor bike rental as well, and Paul dropped me off to pick it up. If the great customer service does not sway you in to trying this resort out, maybe Caroline's nice "British accent" will. Thanks Leelawadee.
