Quiet and relaxing, self catering Bungalows

We stayed here for 3 nights on our travels. Although listed as Ao Nang its about 10 km from the busy beach area and in a quiet and secluded spot. Its more self catering bungalows (8) with a pool and someone always on hand to help you out with whatever you need.
if you want a busy location amongst all the action with everything closeby this is not for you. If you want a home from home and relaxion with lovely views, a pool to yourself and warm and friendly owners and guests this is for you.
The bungalows have everything you need for self catering with. Fridge, stove, etc so we cooked our own breakfast and chilled outside taking in the views. You can order breakfast for delivery each morning and there is a room service menu which they send out for as there is no catering on site. The bungalows are only about a year old and furnishings I would say are about a 4.5 * standard. The only comments we had and as mentioned in other reviews are that ants can get in and even a lizard or two through the gaps in the doors. We learned to ignore this as the location is surrounded by fields, trees, etc so nature is all around you which actually is what makes it so relaxing.
The gardens and pool are lovely. You are a bit isolated so allow 20 minutes for a taxi which their driver Bill will charge 300 baht. Make sure you carry a map to show drivers, as its quite new some drivers can't find it. We saved on fares by using free pick ups - jane & june massage was great, the Hilltop restaurant will pick up / drop off, tours will pick you up / drop off. The owners dropped as off in Krabi town one night, so it need not cost a lot to travel if you are clever. Better still hire a moped or car and drive yourself as the roads are relatively quiet and scenery stunning.
As other reviews have said the owners Caroline, Paul and his wife Bo, the dog and the cat make it a great place to stay. Between them they speak lots of languages and know everything and will give you a 5* friendly service.
