Arrived already sad about extortionate prices in railay (beginning of high season). All the rooms get progressively worse as you ascend up the “resort” walkway. We walked past every room and were given a space at the very back underneath a staircase. Bed is damn uncomfortable and air con and plumbing is noisy. Outdated room, who paints a dark room blue and black??? Come on... the beach on this side is not nice which sucks because the pool area is a state - in construction or something who knows. Also outdated. Only thing edible was toast for breakfast but that was just us you can get a man to make you eggs so it’s not all bad.
All in all go somewhere else. Railay is only worth it if you stay at a nice resort which will cost you more especially in season.
