Snorkelling is us!
Coral View is right on the beach at Sai Daeng bay which offers really good snorkelling. The Hotel itself offers 3 types of accommodation. We booked a seaview chalet which was okay but with a little bit of money and thought could have been a lot better. We stayed for 14 nights, there was nowhere in the bathroom to put your washbag except on the floor. The safe is in an awkward place on one of the shelves where you have to squat down to access it. The safe is small and will take a camera, purse/wallet, iPad minis. Nowt much more. No hanging rack for wet clothes/towels so you hang stuff over the balcony and are at the mercy of the wind. No bedside lights and the switch for the main room lights were on the side of the bed from me. The food is ok. If you eat down at the beach bar the food always arrives tepid as it takes the journey from the kitchen to the beach on a miniature cable car system. But you can tolerate all this because the snorkelling is good. Nice corals. Interesting fish and adult black tip reef sharks. The clue at Coral View is the price. It offers value for money without frills.
