Great location
The location of the hotel was great as it is very close to the beach and walking distance to Bangla Road. The room and bathroom were also clean. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The pool area was fantastic with a build in pool bar. Happy hour twice a day on beers and cocktails. The hotel is a little run down, but this did not negatively affect our stay. Breakfast was also satisfactory. The only downside was when we booked a ferry to Phi Phi island through the hotel's tourist information guys that sits in the front desk area. He booked us a ferry under false pretensions. He provided us with a brochure with a beautiful new looking ferry. When we asked him what the ferry looks like he pointed to the brochure. When we arrived the ferry was very run down, extremely old, dirty and disgusting. I also saw insects walking on the seats and killed a few. Another couple complained to one of the crew members and they laughed at them. They are all con-artist's and know exactly what they are doing.
