Lovely staff and great pool

We stayed at the resort for 6 nights. The resort pool was lovely and along with the friendly staff, the best assets of the resort. The common areas could do with some maintenance, though mainly cosmetic. The biggest disappointment was that the bar used very cheap/nasty spirits and I suspect were filling main brand bottles with cheap equivalents. This seems to be the normal on Koh Phangan as I experienced it at all the bars along the beach at neighboring resorts, though have not experienced it in Koh Samui or Phuket before at resorts. Me and my friends decided to buy bottles of spirits from the store across the street and only order mixers at the bars to avoid serious hangovers from the cheap spirits. This was a disappointment. The Restaurant Manager was amazing and helped arrange a lunch for 40 of us, on the same day we advised. This was greatly appreciated.
Overall a great experience, though bring your own spirits.
