Peaceful stay with a fantastic pool
I enjoyed my stay here. A bit far from the action on a quiet beach. Beach directly out front isn't that great, but a 2 minute walk to the Maehaad Bay. The view from the room isn't amazing, but the rooms are huge and well appointed. I was upgraded on arrival to a suite, so it was a good start. Hotel is relatively new. Good service at reception. Lady at breakfast was a bit stand-offish and not very friendly, but generally smiles and good service everywhere else. Had lunch/dinner there once or twice and the food was generally good. The main beach is big and has some nice snorkeling, and there is a little island you can walk to during low tide (though I never did). But definitely not a party beach. Nothing happens here at night. Rent a scooter from the place outside and go Chaloklum for seafood grills and nightlife. About 15 minutes away. Haad Salad and Haad Yao are also easily accessible by scooter. In fact there is a main trunk road connecting Chaloklum and Tong Sala, so there is good connectivity to the main part of the island , though it takes time to get there obviously.
