Perfect in every way, just know you way around.
If you are not looking for a full service hotel, restaurants, bar, etc, then there is no better in Bangkok. Staff are the owners, the building has been in their family since it was their parent's jewelry store. The designer is a staff architect for Banyon Resorts, and it shows. Great design.
Taxi drivers will have a hard time finding it, make sure to have a map and the direction the hotel gives you. Bangkok is big... and many don't know where it is, or don't want to go since it isn't close to areas they like to stay around. But you can get there for about 100 bhat from almost anywhere.
Staff are amazing, they even went to the post office for me to shop a package, drove my mother to a doctor appointment and paid a taxi for me because I didn't have small bills. A little advise, know you way around. There is no public transit near by, that is what makes it so wonderful. It isn't in the middle of the chaos. You can get to anywhere you need to easily, by taxi or by walking to the canal taxi. You can even walk to BTS/Subway in about 30 minutes.
