Could not have been better

Staying at the Loobchoob was all that I had hoped for, and more. It felt like a haven from the grit and noise and bustle of Bangkok. Remodeled from the owner's family's home and business, the design is sleek and contemporary. Our room could not have been more comfortable. Because it was so warm outside, we didn't spend much time on our private balcony or the rooftop garden, but they added to the sense of spaciousness.
Best of all was the warmth and hospitality of Sukanya and her uncle Nipon (who was helping out during our visit). They came to our aid in many ways: suggesting restaurants (and supplying written directions to and from them), holding our tickets on the night train for us, renting us a day room to rest in during the afternoon between our arrival by air and departure on the train, and more. Later, we returned to Bangkok for less than 48 hours. But though our stay was short, we felt we were saying goodbye to friends.

Unbeatable value for money!
