I booked the big house for a night stay with my family. The location was good, tucked in a small, quiet alley surrounded by local houses and rental houses and a few-minute walking distance to the walking street and 7-11. The owner was friendly and helpful. The house was like an typical Thai house with cozy feel and you could make yourself at home easily. it had 2 separate bedrooms upstairs, 2 bathrooms (one attached to a bigger bedroom and one downstairs), laundry area upstairs, and plenty of sleeping area downstairs. Mattresses in the smaller bedroom were really hard though. The garage could park 2 cars conveniently. There was also a small dining area in front of the house that you could have a meal and a group party. Overall it was a fair deal. But they need to improve the cleanliness of the house because as I walked in, the floor was dusty everywhere and I felt disgusted I had to tiptoe. The bathroom wasn't properly clean - water marks on the sink but toilets were ok. The beddings in the bedrooms were fairly clean but I don't think the extra pillows and blankets were. The water they provided weren't 'bottled'. They just filled water in used bottles (no tamperproof seal). Even though I am usually ok with drinking unbottled water at street food vendors, but this practice was not hygienic for an accommodation. Didn't dare drink that. The owner doesn't stay within the area of the house, so make sure you have her number just in case. In the morning, they had food prepared in case you wanted to give it to the monk.
