Stunning old teak stilt house in charming Old Town

a stunning example of old town charm in touristic koh lanta. we loved the place and would return. the early mornings on the verandah were amazing and the decoration and trinkets scattered about were very thai, very sweet.
note that the toilets are shared and you need to use a bowl of water to flush them yorself and the whole place creaks when someone just walks along the upstairs hallway - the place is old. we loved it but some may find it too archaic. the staff had a few drink on our first night. you can heat everything in this place. we regret that we had to ask them to be quiet by about midnight. the next night was dead quiet.

Not bad for the money
Nice place for the money. Great location and nice people. I did get lots of bites in the night, could do with putting screens on the window to stop the bugs coming in.
