The real Thailand .. not a business place

We arrived to Sriraya GH after travelling trough thailand gulf for 2 weeks where we were disappointed about almost everything.We are a couple of girlfriends pretty open minded.
Lanta old town was the place where finally we felt not tourist but travelers.
Sriraya is the most beautiful guest house we've been in south asia , it's not just a place to stay but specially a place to live and discover thai peopole. You can use the kitchen , buy everythin in the village, fesh fish catched the night at a thai price ..they helped us to cook thai recipies for free. If I should reccome d a place in thailand Sriraya would be the one. We booked one night but we stayed 4 and more if it would be possible.
Go there if you're looking for something different from a tourist trap.

great location

Charming guesthouse
good location in the city but not too close of the rare noisy bars. as i stayed during the laanta lanta festival, i don't know how often these bars are open with dj. many dishes of the menu weren't av... อ่านต่อ

Great view, clean, nice washroom and shower
Nice raised deck overlooking the water with a good breeze. That alone is worth the price because it gets stinking hot during the day in Old Town

Boring and bad staff
