Good value for money

The Mercy Hotel is in a slightly out of the way location. About a ten minute taxi from the train station. Nearby, there is virtually no where to go as it is just off a motorway. However, if you go beneath the motorway across an opening in the fence, cross the railroad tracks just off the motorway, there is an amazing little market with very cheap prices. It was very authentic, just Thai people going about their day to day shopping. I bought two grilled stuffed squids for twenty baht, whereas at the night market they tried to charge me 170 for one. The staff could not speak much English, but they got an English speaking taxi driver for me, who grossly overcharged me, but I was in no mood to argue. Overall a great night stay, clean room, nice shower.

Short stay, great service

Big and comfy
Big rooms that are comfortable. Old hotel that is very well maintained! Slightly out of downtown! Your own transportation is recommended.

Nice clean hotel.
Great stopover whilst driving to Phuket, big clean rooms and good car park, would stay again.

Quiet place
The location is not hard to get to Sairee beach and Khao Dinso. You can get breakfast with that price how's good :) room is also clean.
