Little piece of paradise
Sea sand sun is a fantastic little beach bungalow resort.
The beach is 5 metres from the closest bungalow and not hidden behind a bar, sun loungers or
restaurants like some resorts on the same beach.
The rooms are clean and functional, with a decent size bathroom.
Great value for money, although I will see we stayed in low season, although the prices are still comparable in high season.
Location is also good, it's a 5-10 minute walk to the many shops and restaurants on the road that runs parallel with the beach.
The swimming pool is also nice, and a bit bigger than the other ones we saw on khlong khong beach.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff, they literally couldn't do enough for us during our near 2 week stay, from providing umbrellas when it rained, change of towels any time we needed, all the coffee I could drink and booking any transport we needed, they even only charged us for one days scooter use when we had for 3 days.
The gardens are also nice and very well tended.
One very minor gripe, the breakfast is not really worth the additional charge, and does not compare well with other buffet breakfasts I've had in Thailand.
Overall though I would recommend sea sand sun to anyone and will definitely be staying there again on my next trip to Lanta.
