Terrifying
I was very unfortunate to be given a room where the door knob is faulty and where I was locked from the inside! I was panicky when I was unable to open the door from the inside in the morning I woke up and luckily a guest who happened to pass by my room saw me frantically asking for help. He was kind enough to respond to me and he asked me for the key. At first, he himself was unable to open the door and finally, it took him probably 5 minutes to open it! My goodness I could have probably died of a heart attacked if nobody was there to rescue me at the very moment, considering there was no room phone. Good that there was a glass window where any passing guest can see me. When I reported the incident to the receptionist, she was just looking at me with a smiling face as if what happened was something to smile about nonchalantly. So if you do not want to experience what happened to me, do not book at this guest house! It is definitely not safe for a solo traveler like me.
