affordable, accessible, near the beach, and value
I went to Krabi during the low season, so was given the opportunity to choose my desired room.
Settled in room 403, which had the best sea view. Especially when you wake up, it is the beach and palm trees that greets your eyes. Other rooms with sea view are 303, 304, & 404.
The room was specious and had a big bed, a television, mini fridge, air-conditioning and a fan. The room's air-conditioning was working well, and the fan helped speed up the cooling process. They provided towels and a bar of soap. Only notable thing was the blanket, it is like a giant towel. Not that comfortable nor does it give much protection from the cold.
They also provide lockers to keep your valuables. But they do lock up the area at night so you can only get your stuff next morning.
Staff were very friendly and helpful, they greeted me every time I passed. They even helped me call for a cab to the airport. There are cheaper options available, but I opted for convenience.
The beach is just two minutes away. Its location and proximity to the beach is it's best feature.
It is also surrounded by souvenir shops, restaurants, massage centres, and tour operators. A police station is across the street and various motor bike operators offers convenience and accessibility.
Overall, Jinda Guesthouse is a great value for money.
