Cheap and cheerful but many sleepless nights

Wooden fan bungalows are very basic and in need of some care, but no real complaints. The issue is the Pirate bar (and many other bars along the beach) who insist on having regular parties way into the night and early morning. The bar sits in the middle of the hotel complex on the beach, very close to the bungalows, approx 20m from ours but much closer to others. On a Sunday night, their regular party night, you will be kept awake until 4 or 5 in the morning, listening to the awful dance music they play at full volume - earplugs will not help, our hut was shaking. Other bars nearby do the same. It is strange given that this area attracts mainly families. This really spoiled an otherwise lovely stay.

Nice place at the Beach, BUT...

The Beach
Our stay here was nice. The rooms are a little shabby but the price is right and the beach is right there. Perfect place for anyone who loves the beach.

Good location
Just stay if its cheap and does the job, places nearby are better and offer better food and accommodation.

Way overpriced.
This place should be half the price it is. Location is great, but for the price it should be much better. For the same price you get much better in Lanta.

Crabs
We had small crabs trying to eat through and get inside our bungalow. Not pleasent. Upgraded to a concrete bungalow and then everything was fine!
