Beautiful hotel on a beautiful beach
Want an affordable bungalow with good facilities right on the beach with a pool? Then book C&N! Koh Khao is a lovely beach away from everything. The hotel keep the beach debris free (not that there was much being swept in) every morning. The pool is lovely with plenty of sun loungers which are extremely comfortable. There are more sun loungers on the beach and it is never crowded. We ate in the restaurant which serves predominantly Thai but lots of choice. Main courses 150-200 THB with beer at 100 for a large Singha so not badly priced for an island. We had a car and took it over on the car ferry for 150 THB inc all passengers but didn't use it again once we got there! All rooms are facing the beach. Our friend was in a beach view and we stayed in an ocean view. Main difference was the room size (ocean slightly bigger) and the beach views are all in a line whereas the ocean views are built at an angle, giving you slightly more privacy on your balcony. View very similar - no buildings in front of any of them but just obstruction of trees. My only complaint would be the beds - very hard. In fact, the sunloungers were more comfortable! Would definitely stay here again and recommend this resort. Enjoy!
