The staff was good, it is more of a private hotel, since there is only three villa! very relaxing but they need to have men staff to carry big bags since there are no men staff at all.

We stayed in the Honeymoon Pool villa and there were pros and cons. Pro: staff was very sweet and the bed was enormously comfortable - truly top flight among 45 lodgings we’ve used in our 6 months traveling in SE Asia. Cons: place felt tired and outdated; pool was kind of sweet but raised above ground with one full glass side and a surface to the stairs and platform that was NOT nonslip. We had locks on the doors and gate but staff used them and entered (and didn’t lock up after) in a unit that was clearly designed to be used by people in intimate settings like honeymooners. There was adequate privacy due to the hedges but when staff can (and do) enter without a doorbell (none supplied), it keeps you a bit off balanced. The layout of the “kitchen” was odd because it was outside so awkward to make coffee. Also, Koh Samui’s taxi fares are high (higher than necessary) and it is costly getting to town, distracting from the quiet setting. Rent a car or scooter - the cost is well worth it.
