Lovely stay. Would go back.

Had a lovely 3 day stay here. Got a ferry from Bang Rong Pier (every hour) and then a taxi (300B) to the resort. We got way before check-in time, but they were able to get us into our room. We got a room on the higher hill, which is across the street from the beach front (main) section of the resort. I would recommend a beach view or a garden view (both in the front/main section) since they're right by the beach/restaurant/pool (there is a 2nd pool in the higher level). The rooms were nice and air conditioned, with working bathrooms and showers. And they clean the rooms daily and provide fresh towels and water bottles (beach & bathroom).
There is also a cafe and a convenience store which was nice if you wanted a bag of chips or lotion etc.
Activity wise, they have a long-tail boat tour of the islands near by (AM & PM) for 3500B (2 people) which includes water, fruit and fried rice. The PM one ends on a small island to watch the sunset. We also rented a scooter the second day for 350B (24hrs, gas not included). Riding around the island was a lot of fun, although there aren't really any crystal clear beaches here. A lot of them are swampy or rocky.
In all, we had a lovely time. The included breakfast was simple, but good and the restaurant serves good Thai food. Afterwards, we were on Koh Phi Phi, which had islands with incomparably beautiful beaches, but super rowdy with tourists. So the contrast was perfect. We got to enjoy both scenes.
If you are doing the same (Koh Phi Phi from Koh Yao Yai), the resort will set up a taxi (200B) and direct speed boat (1800B for 2 people) direct to Koh Phi Phi. It's a bit expensive, but definitely saves time by a few hours.
