nice small resort
We stayed 3 nights at the Thiwson Resort. First night in a standard and two nights in a seaview bungalow, which was much nicer. The standard would have been ok, if the bathroom would have been in a better condition and without a bat hanging from the roof eating dinner there. The shower was outside and there was no door. Especially at nighttime it was challenging as there was also no light outside.
The pool was nice but not usable for blond people as they put copper in the water which makes green hair. Swimming in the sea was not really possible, only 1 time there was enough water. But the view from the beach is nice and they have sun chairs at the beach
very disapointing was the restaurant - breakfast was really limited - we stayed at Koh Yao Yai Village for just 10 Euro more per night and had a 5star breakfast - at Thiwson it was really nothing for this price. Also the rest of the food was absolutely poor and long waiting time. Better go to Jigko Bar just a few minutes down the road.
