Beachfront Idyll
This has been the first time we have visited Ko Yao Yai although we have seen it from Klong Muang, Krabi many times and wondered what was there. We chose Thiwson Beach because of its nearness to Chong Lad pier and from the many positive reviews of other travellers. We were not disappointed.
We had a beachfront bungalow which provided an excellent view of Phang Nga bay (and across to Klong Muang!). The room is large and airy with high ceilings, seperate bathroom and open-air shower and air-conditioning but no fan.
Breakfast (included) consisted of eggs, cooked as you preferred, bacon and tomato, an excellent selection of fresh fruits, cereal, cake and pancakes. The dinner that we ate there was very good and the prices for food and drink quite reasonable.
There are also a few restaurants within walking distance of the resort if you feel like a change.
Staff were friendly and attentive without being overly so. I will definitely stay there again if I return to Ko Yao Yai
