Peaceful, calm, perfect hideaway spot for 2-3 days
Very beautiful resort with an infinity pool, chairs on the sandy beach, restaurant had great appetisers but we didn't think the main dishes were outstanding. The lodging was very nice, roomy and clean with a porch at the front to sit down and enjoy the view of the pool and beach (room B5). The bathroom is outdoors but the walls hide you from unwelcomed eyes and only the shower is more on the "outside" side. The staff made us change rooms on the last night even though we booked the same kind for an extra night (wished we could stay in the same room) but they were perfect in planning our sunrise transfer to catch the 7:30am longboat on another island (ko yao noi; it's the only departure to phang nga each day) : taxi, boat, taxi and boat. The island ko yao yai is fun to discover on a scooter, is not touristy (2 or 3 on a level of 5 being the max) and the hotel has different activities to choose from with local tours.
