Good budget poor value

It is located in the NE corner of the old city. Being in the old city, many eateries and drinking places are nearby. The place looked reasonable from outside but not very well maintained inside. The towel doesn't smell fresh, in fact, the pillow smelled with bad odor.
The owner is not very friendly, we asked about some Thai messages that appeared in our taxi booking app; he was unwilling to help and just mentioned that if you need a cab, I can book for you.
We will not recommend this place nor return again.
