Comfort and charm in a nice neighborhood

My husband and I stayed here for just a few days while we searched for a cheaper long term stay. The grounds are beautiful, the pool was lovely and spotless but a tad cold for me (I like bathtub temp pools). The room was lovely, accented with dark wooden furniture, with a nice balcony overlooking tall garden plants - a nice thing considering that the guesthouse is inside the busy Old City. It would be a bit dark if you planned to stay inside for days working at your computer, but it was perfect for lounging around in the morning and evening. THe lobby area has really nice sitting areas as well. After wandering all over, we liked the northeast area of the city to be our favorite in terms of a mellow vibe and places nearby. Nice touch to have a full length mirror near the stairs of the second floor so you can check yourself on the way out. Breakfast was pretty tasty, though a little expensive compared to all of the restaurants nearby. We'd definitely stay here again!!
