Good, if Spartan option

I stayed two nights--the first two days I was there the only staff available did not speak English. At checkout an English speaking staff member arrived who was very friendly and nice; only wish I had met her earlier. For the price, it's a bit bare bones--the air conditioner was set on an attic temperature that couldn't be adjusted (or, the language barrier prevented a more nuanced conversation about it in any case), there are no toiletries or free bottles of water (picky, perhaps, but when you arrive in the middle of the night from abroad this is a bit of a pain) and the wifi is not great. That said, it's a cozy little place in the heart of Silom and easy to get around from, and the room decor was tasteful. An okay option for an independent traveler that doesn't anticipate needing anything but the basics.

Humble lodging
