If you are passing through this area and need a place to sleep over night, it is very new, and clean, but the location itself does not offer much.

When we stayed (several months ago) the hotel had only just opened, we were the only guests there, and it had the feel of not being fully open for business. I'm sure with the right treatment this could go on to be our #1 choice for a place to stay in Phu Rua. The (few) staff that were there were very friendly. Very accessible rooms that are located along a raised walkway offering superb views of the surrounding countryside. Breakfast is the usual generic breakfast that you get at most up-country hotels that cater predominantly to Thais; couple of fried eggs, those yucky, plasticky pink cocktail sausage creations and an anemic square of boiled sandwich ham and the cheapest white sandwich bread available. Oh for a decent farang-friendly English breakfast with proper sausages, bacon, choice of eggs, baked beans, decent crusty or whole-wheat bread etc.
