I had booked and paid in advance AU$ 68.55 for a "Sea View Room" through Agoda. However, when we arrived on 8 Jan 2019, their "Sea View Room" had already been rented out, although Agoda's booking confirmation clearly stated that I had rented and paid for a "Sea View Room". I tried to speak to the Pakmeng Resort Manager, who could hardly understand English. In the end we got a "River Front Room". The manager claimed that the "River Front Room" was MORE expensive than the "Sea View Room", but I would get it for the same price I had paid in advance to Agoda. In reality, Agoda's price for the "River Front Room" is cheaper!!! In addition, when we arrived, there was no toilet paper in the bathroom. Our room lacking a telephone, caused me to walk about 300 m to the reception, to get toilet paper and 300 m back to our room. Internet was not available, either. Forget the slogan "we speak your language"! Pakmeng Resort" don't speak English at all. Only Thai.
