Yup it is really close to the clock tower

clean and neat room with en suite and balcony. our room overlooked the sreet and all the activity late into the evening but we had no trouble sleeping. good aircon. plenty of restaurants within easy walking distance. we were there 4 nights and ate at the siam corner restaurant just down the street twice, the food was very good and reasonable. when we arrived at the bus station we asked for tuk tuk ride to the hotel but they pointed and said to walk. not easy when you don't speak thai but we managed to find the guest house. don't expect much for breakfast, there were some bananas,tangerines and hot water and teabags. we just went around the corner and had noodle soup

Cosy place in the city center
