Staff awesome, Owner terrible.
Would not recommend if you cannot stand bugs. All doors and windows have large gaps which allow all the little critters in. Honeymoon villas are particularly bad for this. We downgraded but it actually felt like an upgrade. Beach is okay but full of long tail boats, not really swimable but when the tide goes out it’s fun to walk out and feel like you’re in the middle of the ocean. Breakfast was edible but not awesome. Owner is an insanely unprofessional woman who laughed at me when I asked to pay the price of the new room we were staying in, as it was less than the honeymoon villa. She said she had her reasons and she would not be refunding me just because I didn’t like her room. I believe the main receptionists name is Pip, she was lovely and the only saving grace of this place. I feel terrible that she has to work for the horror of a woman that runs the place from Phuket. Like many places in Thailand, it was once a nice resort but no up keep means it’s quickly becoming another washed up resort. Do not pay full price, or avoid completely.
