A place to relax

This place is located on a longish beach with nice views of offshore islands and towards the Krabi coast. It is a place to relax and perhaps jump on a motorcycle or one of the free bicycles to check the surrounding area. The area, indeed the whole island is not one for partying, shopping etc. Our room was spacious, well equipped and quiet. The inclusive breakfasts were not buffet but fine - prices for other meals were maybe 50-100% more than the budget restaurants I try to frequent in Thailand, but still a bargain by western standards. The management and staff were excellent. The smallish pool was very attractive and welcoming. The beach in front of the resort is fairly nice at high tide but suffers the low tide blues badly - with maybe 300m of cleanish sand exposed. There are some local shops and a restaurant less than 10 minutes walk up to the main road - sadly the restaurant prices were closer to resort than local levels.

Nice location for the price.
People were great and it was nice location. Room was really nice with a view of the ocean.

Bad choice
