Good for enjoying a quiet beach
Rantee View is just between Tohko Beach Resort and Rantee Cliff. I stayed there because my friends were at Tohko (5 min walk by narrow and not very smooth path). It was fine for that. The inside was simple and clean, but the outside looked a bit old. The employee who helped me was very nice even though he didn't speak much English, but he didn't need to as he only gave me my key and helped carry my bag to Tohko where I caught a long tail boat to the pier to take the ferry boat to the main land. I enjoyed the roofless bathroom, but there were a few leaves. The windows didn't have a screen and there was no mosquito net, so I had to sleep with the windows closed. That was not that big of a problem for me. I used the facilities at my friend's bunglow, so I was OK with basically no additional facilities. or actual beach at this location. The main part of Phi Phi is like a big party every night, but this beach is far from that and getting to the party and back would be hard to do every night if that was part of your plan.
