Basic needs overlooked

After a days hard work checked in around 5:45 pm and needed a shower. NO WATER. Picked up the room phone to call reception - PHONE NOT WORKING The bathroom - NO TOILET PAPER Wanted to watch TV while waiting - TV REMOTE NOT WORKING
Once I informed about water and TV remote, the receptionist came up to my room with two batteries for the remote and informed that he will check the water situation. Waited for 1.5 hrs. Then went down to reception and I was informed that they had run out of water cos they had to fill the pool. Priorities gone wrong. I was told it will take about 45 min to 1 hr. I went out for dinner and came back after 45 min. I was told that they are getting a a water truck to fill the tank. Waited in the room for another 30 minutes and had to demand for a refund and checked out to find another hotel. Only one good thing - When I wanted a refund, they did not make an issue. It was immediate.

Quite new apart-hotel on a main road.
