Strange Place
The place feels and looks strange. Very Chinese, dragons and lamps and stuff, everything makes a good first impression. Until you take a closer look. And: Nothing really fits, tastewise. Chairs at the restaurant are comfortable, but belong in a Korean Air shuttle bus, not in a restaurant. Warm food is offered in heating devices that are normally for use in a private kitchen. The room is a weird combination of stuff that doesn't fit, couch looks like bought at an East-German flee market, the matress is not too soft but surprisingly uncomfortable, the bathroom big but with a strange layout (the shower is big enough to accomodate a minibus load of people at the same time, while the rest of the bathroom is smaller than the shower), and why our room has a 'Royal' in its description remains a mystery. Ah, an we had a huge balcony with kind of pool outside. Unfortunately the little device that prevents the water from immediate following gravity didn't fit into its hole. Forget about the pool then...
If you have a rental at hand and look for a budget place its ok. For all other farang: try elsewhere.
