Good central location in KK

With the exception of spotty WiFi service, we had a good stay at Phanthipa. Our room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The hotel rooms are set back about 100 meters from the main road, which helps keep the noise down. The service was good, and although not much English is spoken, we were able to communicate well enough.
Our only complaint was that the WiFi connection in our room would work for a while and then drop off. We got some help from the manager resetting the router and eventually reconnected.
Overall, Phanthipa is a good value and if they can get some kinks worked out in their WiFi we would recommend it. It is an easy walk to the Central Plaza mall and there are two smaller malls nearby (an older IT mall and a new mall with bars and restaurants across the main street from the entrance alley-way to Phanthipa). There are several large hotels in the area, which help support some good restaurants, and a new tower hotel or condo (probably the tallest building in Khon Kaen) is under construction nearby, so Phantipa is near the center of most of what's happening in the city.

A Pleasant Supprise

Very pleasant, just what I required, no frills.
The survey tends to make you answer things in a negative way for some subjects. There is no food available so it unfair to class it as 'poor'. Likewise there is very little staff contact as it is run... อ่านต่อ
